This innovative platform is integrated with Imagine 3 (Vertex AI) for text-to-image generation and Luma AI for text-to-video generation, enabling users to bring their creative visions to life.

Project Challenges and Their Solutions

1. Token Cost Management for AI-Generated Content

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was the high token cost of generating AI-powered images and videos. With frequent user interactions, the platform risked running up significant costs due to repeated AI requests for the same or similar content. This was particularly problematic for a startup with budget constraints.

SOLUTIONS

To mitigate token costs, we implemented a caching mechanism where AI-generated images and videos were stored in a PostgreSQL database. Whenever a user requested the same content, the system would check the database first and reuse the previously generated content. This drastically reduced the number of AI calls, thus minimizing token consumption and optimizing operational costs without compromising user experience.

2. Handling Multi-Platform Compatibility

Challenges

Zenscroll needed to provide a consistent experience across mobile and desktop platforms. Ensuring the platform’s responsive design worked across different screen sizes and devices presented significant design and performance challenges.

SOLUTIONS

We built Zenscroll using Ionic and React, which enabled us to deliver a native-like experience across both iOS and Android. By adopting a responsive design approach and using CSS frameworks like Flexbox and Grid, we ensured that the layout adjusted seamlessly for different devices, providing an optimal user experience.
