While creating the application, our team came across technical challenges and employed applicable solutions, related to the project:

Challenges

Managing Real-Time Leaderboards and High User Engagement

Keeping track of real-time leaderboards for a large volume of active users was tough, particularly during high usage hours when user participation spiked.


Cross – Platform Compatibility

Making sure the application worked smoothly across iOS and Android platforms was hard, because the app needed to present a consistent user experience on both systems. In addition, the problem was to lessen code duplication while guaranteeing a uniformity in functionality, design, and performance across multiple devices.


SOLUTIONS

For proficient data storage, we use PostgreSQL, and for a scalable cloud infrastructure, we depend on AWS. Integrated real-time synchronization through Express.JS.

The built a multiscreen application with Ionic and React.JS, thus assuring an alike UI/UX for both iOS and Android platforms.

Challenges

Ensuring Data Security for User Transactions

Working with sensitive data, like user information and financial transactions, called for a strong security structure. To function properly, the app needed to adhere to rigorous data privacy rules and still deliver a seamless and secure user experience.


Scalable Backend to Handle Betting Volume

The app observed important increases in traffic, particularly during significant sports events. The obstacle was to ensure efficient scale-up of the backend to fulfill the needs of thousands of betting transactions simultaneously, while avoiding slowness or server outages.

SOLUTIONS

For data encryption purposes, AWS was employed, along with tough security protocols that maintained both user data privacy and compliance with regulations related to betting.

Thanks to PostgreSQL and Express.JS, we achieved a scalable backend infrastructure able to efficiently deal with significant volumes of betting transactions
